Henry Rolfes
Henty Rolfes, 76, longtime Remsen resident, died Monday at Floyd Valley hospital where he had been a patient for a week.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church, Remsen, with Msgr. Frank P. Schultes officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Fisch funeral home. Military rites will be conducted at graveside.
Mr. Rolfes was born Aug. 24, 1894, in Germany. He had resided in Remsen most of his life.
He was a retired farmer and veteran of world war 1.
Survivors are a brother, Frank of Le Mars; three sisters, Sister Anicita of Staceyville, Mrs. Benadine Schroeder of Kingsley and Mrs. Agnes Ruba of Remsen.
