Suggested edit: STRATFORD Jacob Spindler, 82, Stratford, died in a Wausau hospital Wednesday evening after being a patient there for the past two weeks. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ with the Rev. Harvey Reh officiating. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will repose at the Sauter Funeral Home from this evening until 11 a. m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church. Mr. Spindler was born Dec. 2, 1879 in Sheboygan County. He was married in 1904 in Stratford to the former Sophia Holtman. They farmed in the town of Emmett and the town of Cleveland until 1943, when they retired and moved to Stratford and have lived here since. Mr. Spindler held several church offices. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Otto, town of Cleveland, and Carl, Stratford; a daughter, Mrs, Milton (Alma) Heller, Wausau nine grandchildren; 4 great-grand children; two brothers, Peter town of Cleveland and Louis, town of Day and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Koehler, Stratford and Mrs. Anna Redeker, town of Cleveland.
