Herbert Henry Herman was born to Herman and Dorothy (Nienaber) Herzog. He married Myrtle Rocella Scheunemann on January 10, 1947 in Freeport, Minnesota. The family moved to Aurora, Minnesota in 1952 where Herb was a Union Iron Worker as a welder. He was a staunch Democrat, avid fisherman, hunter, gardener and enjoyed canning vegetables. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, The National Rifle Association, and a former member of Ducks Unlimited. He loved feeding wildlife including bear, deer, rabbits, and birds. Left to mourn his death was sons, Jerome Dennis (Christine Jacobs) and Allan Dean (Phylles Scheef) and daughter Vallarie Sue Crouley. He was preceded in death by his wife on December 19, 2002. Memorial Mass was held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. Fr. Rick banker was the celebrant and the music by Margaret Holter. Burial was at a later date.
