MINDEN - Theodore "Ted" Bednarsky, 79, of Minden, died April 17, 1998, in Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, after a long illness.

He was born in Scarbro. He was a retired miner and a member of the UMW. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic.

Surviving: sister, Louise Wedderburn of Xenia, Ohio; brother, Joe Bednarsky Jr. of Millville, N.J.; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High Lawn Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Ray McClung officiating. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, with military graveside services conducted by VFW Post 3110 of Oak Hill.
