Lewis C. Koepfer, 95, formerly of Alvada and a resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Gostoria, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 29, 1990, in Fostoria City Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1894, in Alvada, to Frank and Elizabeth (Lucias) Koepfer.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Six brothers and five sisters are deceased. Mr. Koepfer, a retired railroad telegrapher with th Chessie Railroad syster, was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and the Railway Clerks of America.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, with burial in St Peter's Cemetery, Alvada.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a scripture service will be at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
