A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Moys officiating. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Veenker was born March 4, 1908, in Briceton, Ohio. She lived in the Illinois Valley for several years. Veenker lived in Chester, Calif., prior to moving to Grants Pass in 1979. Her husband of 35 years, Leonard Veenker, died in 1987.
Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, quilting and crafts.
She is survived by three daughters, Florence Peltier of Selma, Carol Ann Stone of Spanaway, Wash., and Dorothy Ketter of Roy, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
