Blue Hill resident Janeth "Jann" K. Meyer, 61, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Bladen with Mona Fassler officiating.
Jann was born on Jan. 22, 1950, to Walter and Lenora (Forbes) Meyer at Ainsworth, Neb.
She graduated from Rock County High School in 1968. She graduated from Lincoln Secretarial School in 1969, and from Curtis School of Technical Agriculture as a Certified Vet Tech in 2000. She moved to Blue Hill from Bladen five years ago. She worked for CHS Agri Service Center in Roseland until her health forced her to take a leave of abscence. She was a member of Bladen United Methodist Church in which she was very active. She was also a part of many charitable and social organizations.
She is survived by one daughter, Keely Rogers of Kearney, Neb.; one son, Kasey (Jackie) Rogers of Mechanicsburg, Penn.; eight stepchildren, Kelly Rogers, Kathy Jo McManus Martin, Tracy Bell, Christine Griffiths, Shary Griesfeller, Tanae, Tova, and Taryn Ehrman; one sister Daveta (Dick) Brader of Glenvil, Neb.; one brother Richard (Connie) Meyer of Aurora, Neb.; four grandchildren, Tailer Rogers, Tre Martinez, Kyle Rogers, and Lindsey Rogers; nine stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one stepdaughter, Judy Griffiths; and one nephew, Brandon Brader.
