Kathy M. Goldstein, 21, of 104 South Cleveland street, was dead on arrival at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham, following a one-car accident on North Fourth Street road at Roadway Avenue.

Miss Goldstein was born July 31, 1952 and was a 1970 graduate of St. Anthony High School. She is the second member of her class to die within a week. The other was Philip Kinkelaar, who died Saturday.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Goldstein; brothers, Mike, Steve, and Billy; sisters, Pam, Vicki, and Paula Goldstein; grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Clem Goldstein.

She attended Junior College and Eastern Illinois University studying speech therapy. She was currently employed at Crossroads Press, Inc.

Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham was in charge of arrangements. No burial information was available at press time.
