OBITUARY.
Henry Gerlach was born March 28, 1822, in Norka, Russia. In 1846 he was united in marriage with Kate Lofing, who died in 1862. In 1864 he was again married to Maria Schneider. He came to America in 1890 and settled in Nebraska. He died at his home in this city on Sunday, January 20th, 1907, aged nearly 84 years. He leaves his wife, five children, twenty-four grand-children, twenty-three great-grand-children. His funeral took place Tuesday morning, Jan. 22, Rev. Ernest Mehl of the German Evangelical church, officiating, with interment in Harvard cemetery.
