Adam Andrew was a Revolutionary War soldier and was drafted into the war effort as a Militia Man in the year 1777 while residing in Chester County, Pennsylvania. His birth date and the names of his surviving children are shown in this document.

Adam remained in Pikeland, Chester, Pennsylvania until after the death of his mother at around 1790. He then removed to Rockingham, Virginia by 1791 where he lived until 1804, when he again moved, this time to Wayne, Butler, Ohio. Adam & Catherine would remain there for the rest of their lives.

Cemetery Location: Located on Route 122, two miles west of West Middletown, Butler County, Ohio, on the north side of the road.

Adam's father was Johann Philipp Andreae born in Sulz-Neckar, Württemberg, Germany. Philipp's Father & Mother's names given below:
