Funeral services for Meta Paweleck, 89, of Beasley, are scheduled 2 p.m. Saturday at Friedens United Church of Christ in Beasley. The Rev. Donald Kolkmeier will officiate, with burial at Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Paweleck died May 27 at Columbus Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1904 to parents Gustav and Mary Hustede. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Rudolph and Doris Paweleck of Needville; two grandsons, Kevin Paweleck and his wife, Julie, and Mark Paweleck, all of Needville; three great-granddaughters, Jennifer Paweleck, Ashley Paweleck, and Courtney Paweleck; two sisters, Norma Emshoff of Beasley and Bertha Whitmore of Durham, N.C.; and a brother, Alfred Hustede of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eilert Paweleck, and a son, Rueben Paweleck.
