WYNNE - Elizabeth Dalton Walls, 70, retired from Addison Shoe Co. after 27 years and former employee of Carter's Clothing Factory in Senatobia, Miss., died Thursday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Services were Saturday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in Cogbill Cemetery. She was a member of East Baptist Church. Mrs. Walls, the widow of John Rubble Walls, leaves three daughters, Margaret Kennedy of Paducah, Ky., and Sandra Cox and Paula O'Dell, both of Wynne; three sons, James Walls of Manford, Okla., Curtis Walls of Wynne and Mark Walls of Judsonia; four sisters, Elsie McDavid of Brookhaven, Miss., Weda Clemons of Crenshaw, Miss., Jean Cooper of Wynne and Linda Clemons of Horn Lake, Miss.; four brothers, James Dalton of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., Kenneth Dalton of Southaven, Miss., Tommy Dalton of Sarah, Miss., and Robert Dalton of Odessa, Texas, 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Cross County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
