Anna Tews, resident of Hayward, CA, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26th She was 91.
Anna was married for 44 years to Julian Tews. The loving mother of Elizabeth Cava (Frank) of Hayward, CA, Andrew Tews (Sophia) of Newark, CA, & Zbigniew Alex Tews of TX and the devoted grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Anna was born to Andrew & Frances Michalowski on October 14, 1919 in Poland. She loved to cook, bake, play cards, go to the casinos and do some gardening. Anna loved to be with the family and friend and play with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Anna will be missed very much.
A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward; Visitation will be from 5:00-8:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8th, at All Saints Catholic Church, 22824 2nd St., Hayward. Burial to follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. Arrangements under direction of Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center.
