Mrs. Ellie Faix, 83, Wingdale, died February 10, in Poughkeepsie. She was born February 11, 1887 in Austria-Hungary, the daughter of Joseph and Ella Yeno. Her husband, Louis H. Faix, died in 1948. A former resident of New York City, Mrs. Faix lived in Wingdale for the last 55 years. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Julia) Miller and Miss Irene Faix, both of Wingdale; Mrs. Hugh (Lillian) Riley, Astoria, L. I., Mrs. Patrick (Rose) Clifford and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Kammer, both of White Plains, and Mrs. William (Ethel) Hunter, Miami, Fla.; three sons, Joseph, Wingdale, Louis, Dover Plains, and Edward Faix, New York City; two brothers, James Yeno, Amenia, and William Yeno, Dover Plains; and four grandsons.
