J.W. "Dub" McMullan, 88, of Amarillo died Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Erick,
Cemetery in Erick, Okla., with Windell Knutson, pastor of First Baptist Church of McLean, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Mr. McMullan was born April 15, 1924, in Portales, N.M. He was raised in Erick from the age of 5 months. He lived in Amarillo most of his adult life. J.W. worked as a painter and furniture refinisher for W.T. Cooke and Sons for 30 years.

He married Billie Kestler on March 3, 1946, in Wheeler. He was a member of Bolton Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Billie; a son, Ron McMullan and wife Vickie of Prineville, Ore.; a daughter, Brenda Wade and husband Tim of Denton; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Feed the Children Ministries, in care of City Church, 205 S. Polk St., Amarillo, TX 79101
