LYONS - Laura Anna Leonard, 84, died April 28, 1983, at the Lyons District Hospital. Born Laura Anna Roepke Jan. 27, 1899, at Bodaville, she married Ralph H. Leonard Feb. 7, 1937. He died in 1972. She had been a Lyons resident since 1973.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Saxman; Jeanette McCrory Circle, Rice County Historical Society, AARP Association, all of Lyons.
Survivors: son, Ronald R., Farmingdale, Maine; brothers, Raymond R. Roepke, Vista, Calif.; Howard R. Roepke, Alva, Okla.; Vernon P. Roepke, Manhattan; sisters, Lyla S. Schrock, Topeka; Mabel E. Trekell, Fallbrook, Calif.; two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church; the Rev. Arthur Gathman. Burial at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Sillin-Crawford-Miller Funeral Home, Lyons.
