"Mrs. Charles Gohsman, 70, of 1006 Otter Ave., died today at 2 a.m. at Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. The former Freda Ziebell, she was born in Oshkosh on June 24, 1889 and was married here to Charles Gohsman on November 8, 1911. Mrs. Gohsman was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Good Samaritan Society, and Ladies Aid Society of that church and Eagles Auxilary.
Surviving are her husband Charles, five sisters Mrs. Charles Koeln, Mrs. Arthur Muezee, Mrs. Frank Sonnleitner, Oshkosh; Mrs. Jack Schelk, Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Mrs. Wesley Finck, Fond de Lac; two brothers Edwin Ziebell, Appleton and Harvey Ziebell, Oshkosh, and nieces and nephews. One brother preceded her in death. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church.
