Peter Lötscher (1843-1908) was born in Ascharina, bei St. Antönien in Graubünden, Schweiz, as the second son of Hans Lötscher (woodworker) and his wife Margreth Buol (1818-1891) (Margreth is the sister of Magdalena Buol, wife of Christian Lötscher, 1821-1880).
Peter Lötscher emigrated to the USA Feb. 26 to 18 Apr. 1871 to Conway, AR with his cousin, Peter Lötscher d.J. (13. March 1845- 4. Juni 1894) On March3, 1880, he moved from Conway to Dubuque, Iowa, where he lived until his death. (Source: At. Antönien-Keramik Wikipedia page 4 of 6)
