Christina was born to Christian Geck and unknown in Wurttemberg, Germany on February 9, 1845. In 1866, Christina Geck married Christian Bordt in Germany. She, and her daughters, Anna and Pauline Bordt, emigrated to American on May 29, 1890 into New York City, New York. Christina and her family settled in Philadelphia, PA and lived most of her life in the Kensington Area. In the 1900and 1910 census records Christina lived with her daughter, Anna Bordt Winter, and her husband, Charles Henry [Heinrich Carl] Winter in Philadelphia, PA. In the 1920 census they moved to Eagleswood, Ocean County, PA. In the 1930 census, Christina is living with her granddaughter Christina McFarland Orth and her family in Philadelphia, PA. On February 24, 1934, Christina died in Philadelphia, PA and is buried in Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn/ Abington in Montgomery County. (Christina's son, Fredrick Christian Bordt, is the informant on her death record. His wife Sophia Kath Bordt is the owner of the plot where Christina is buried. Christina is buried (in Grave 3)with Emma Geisel (Grave 1) and Augustus Rupp (in Grave 1), and Christina Kath (in Grave 2). From my research, I have found that all the people buried to Christina were relatives of the grave plot owner Sophia Kath.)
