Mrs. Catherine Wagner

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Wagner, 76, Marathon, who died at a local hospital Sunday after about five weeks illness, will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church in that village. The Rev. Frederick Forster will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Stieber funeral home in Marathon.

Catherine Fochs was born December 16, 1866 in Germany and at the age of 14 years she emigrated to America. She married Charles Wagner in Chicago July 21, 1888. He died October 15, 1919. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society. She had been helpless the past 16 years due to illness. For a part of that time she got around in a wheelchair, but during the past eight years was confined to her bed.

Surviving are eight children, Clemens and Anthony Wagner, Antigo, Ludwig Wagner, Cudahy, Mrs. Eva Murphy and Mrs. Elizabeth Steines, Chicago, Mrs. Daniel A. Reich, 637 S. Fifth Avenue, Mrs. Leona Daniels, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Marie Wolf, Marathon; a brother, Anton Fochs, Evanston, IL a sister, Sister Willibald, Mankato, MN; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
