Obituary - Appleton Post Crescent

Mrs. Elizabeth Uebelacher, 52, died of a heart attack at her home, 427 S. Memorial Drive at 2:30 Friday afternoon. She was born in Chilton Sept 4, 1882 and resided at Bear Creek before moving to Appleton 17 years ago.

Survivors are: her husband George Uebelacher, four daughters Miss Lillian Uebelacker, Miss Josetta Uebelacker and Mrs. Theodore Winsted, Appleton and Miss Mildred Uebelacker Milwaukee: two brothers Matthew Fochs of Eland Junction and Anton Fochs of Evanston IL; three sisters Sister M. Willibald, Notre Dame Convent, St Paul MN, Mrs. Catherine Wagner of Marathon and Mrs. Frank Basler of Sherwood and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the Schommer funeral home at 7:30 Monday morning and at St. Mary's Church at 8:00. Burial will be at St. Joseph's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon until the time of the funera. Mrs. Uebelacker was a member of the Christian Mothers society which will conduct a prayer service at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.

Granted a Divorce
Mrs. Elizabeth Uebelacher, 51, Appleton, was granted a divorce from George Uebelacker, 54, Appleton, yesterday afternoon by Judge Theodore Berg in municipal court. The
charge was cruel and inhuman treatment. Mrs. Uebelacker alleging her husband threatened her and called her names.- The couple was married Jan. 9, 1902, at Marathon City, and separated Sept. 2, 1932. No alimony was asked.-
