Hattie Went, 89, formerly of Enid, died Thursday in a Stillwater hospital. Her funeral was a 3 p.m. today in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel with Dr. William R. Chase officiating. Burial was in Enid Cemetery.
Born July 5, 1899, in Nebraska, she came to Enid while young and lived on a farm west of Enid. She was a former beautician and owned and operated The Modern Wave Beauty Salon.
Preceding her in death were two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are two sister, Lydia Went of Glendale, Calif., and Elsie Hellwege of Stillwater.
