Paul Edward McCarter

Paul Edward McCarter, 58, owner of the McCarter Truck Lines and Topeka resident most of his life, died unexpectedly Monday at his home, 2121 Virginia.
He was born at Auburn and had been in the trucking business for 38 years; he was a member of the Sertoma club.

Mr. McCarter leaves his wife, Mrs. Helen McCarter of the home, and two brothers, A.W. McCarter of 2326 Kentucky, and C.N. McCarter of Wichita, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Thursday at the Wall-Diffenderfer chapel; burial will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery.
