Clem H. Fehringer, 62, of Fort Morgan, died Jan. 8, 2003, at his home. Mr. Fehringer was born July 27, 1940, to John and Clara (Wemhoff) Fehringer in Sterling. He was raised on the family farm, and attended school in Peetz.

In 1961, he married Patricia Frank. She died on July 27, 1988. He moved to Fort Morgan in 1962. On Dec. 29, 1984, he married Vonnie Hunter.

He retired from ITT Continental Baking Co. after 30 years and then was a self-employed handyman.

Mr. Fehringer is survived by his wife; daughters Natalie Miller, Greeley, Jane Madewell, Turlock, Calif., Jackie Leeder, Aurora, Julie Hocheder, Hillrose, and Jill Toler, Fallon, Nev.; son Mark Fehringer, Greeley; step-daughter Jovette Garcia, Chicago; six sisters; five brothers; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister Philomena; and his parents.
