She was born Nov. 21, 1918, to John and Anna Pribyl Pavel at Moscow. She grew up and graduated from high school there.
She married John Edward Paulson at Moscow. They lived at Potlatch, Idaho, for a time before returning to Moscow. Then they lived at Bovill, where he operated the Shell oil plant.
He died in 1954 and she continued to operate the oil plant. She later returned to Moscow and worked as a cashier for David's Department Store until retiring.
She is survived by a son, John Paulson of Moscow; a sister, Agnes Kottke of Moscow; and a grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Moscow Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Lynn of Moscow officiating.
