Mrs. Carl Klimmek Dies
Mrs. Carl Klimmek, aged 86 years, died at 4:30 Sunday, November 3rd at the home of her son Emil Klimmek in Krain Township. Deceased was one of the pioneer settlers of this community having resided in Krain town for many years. She is survived by several sons and daughters, one brother Carl Paschka and sister Mrs. Wm. Lemke, Jr.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with services conducted by Rev. H. Nauss at the home at 2 o'clock following which services were held at the Krain Town Lutheran church and interment was made in the Krain town Lutheran cemetery.

Marriage Record: Frederich and Caroline were married on October 2, 1864 in the Evangelische Kirche in Liep, Osterode, Allenstein, Ostpreussen, Preussen.
According to the 1900 U. S. Federal Census, she immigrated in 1881 to America. She is the mother of 9 children, 8 are living. She is not listed on the passenger manifest with her husband and children. Perhaps, this is an error.
Fred and Caroline farmed in Krain Township, Minnesota for many years.
