Former Grants Pass resident Anne Cecilia Robins, 95, died April 4, 2009, at Apple Creek Family Home in Yakima, Wash.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m.

A reception will follow at Wayne Robins' home in Medford. Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 10, 1913, to Frank and Elizabeth Felber at Hartington, Neb., where she grew up and married Roy Robins in 1933.

During the Dust Bowl of 1936, they left Nebraska and moved to Idaho, where they lived until moving to Salt Lake City in 1941. They returned to Idaho in 1945 and moved to Grants Pass in 1955.

Robins was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and was affiliated with the Altar Society and was active in many other church activities. She was also active in PTA and other school functions.

For several years, she taught 4-H sewing.

Upon retirement, she and her husband operated a small business at home.

They also fished, traveled and enjoyed playing cards. In 1993, she moved to Yakima, Wash.

Survivors include two sons, Warren Robins of Yakima, Wash., and Wayne Robins, of Medford; a daughter, Rita McCloud of Cornville, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Roy, and a daughter, Yvonne Roe, died before her.
