Macon, Mo — Paul W. Sandner December 11, 1936 - June 25, 2012 Paul W. Sandner, 75, of Rocheport, MO, formerly of Macon, MO, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012, at Lenoir Health Care Center in Columbia, MO. Paul was born on December 11, 1936, in Macon, the son of Walter D. and Ruby L. (Phillips) Sandner. Paul graduated from Macon High School in 1955. He was united in marriage to Juanita Kisor on December 1, 1957, in Macon. Paul was a mechanic for Ratliff Equipment in Macon for over 30 years. In 1991, he moved to Rocheport and worked with his son on the farm. Paul enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with family and his dog, Rusty. Paul is survived by three children; Paula Cannan and her husband, Mike of Bevier, MO, Gene Sandner and his wife, Debbie of Rocheport, and Melisha Alderson and her husband, Larry of New Bloomfield, MO; six grandchildren, Jodi Tallis and her husband Tim, Zach Sandner, Nicole Sandner, Anthony Rudkin, Paul Rudkin, and Jacob Rudkin, one great-granddaughter, Camrin Rae Tallis, one sister, Wanda and her husband, Steve Erickson of Macon, several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita Sandner on October 8, 2005; and two grandsons, Cory Cannan and Nicholas Sandner. Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be Thursday evening, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
