Akron Daily Democrat, Friday Evening, 24 November 1899:

"Died at Cleveland

Mrs. Amundia Pearce, wife of Thomas B. Pearce, of 1801 S. High st., died at the Cleveland City hospital Wednesday, from the effect of an operation performed for a tumor. She was 33 years old. Her body was brought to Akron this morning and removed in Park's ambulance to her late home."

"The funeral of Mrs. Amundia Pearce will be held at her late home, 1801 S. High st., Saturday at 12:30 o'clock and at the Main st. M.E. church at 1 o'clock. Interment in Mt. Hope cemetery."
