Town Of Port Farmer Succumbs Suddenly Thurs.

Funeral services were held for Frank Lanser, town of Port resident at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at Holy Cross Church, Holy Cross. The Rev. John J. Koenig officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lanser, age 66, died suddenly Friday morning at his farm home, where he was born March 24, 1882. On May 11, 1915 he was married to Miss Lillian Wester at St. Mary's Church at Lake Church by the Rev. P. W. Gersbach.

Deceased was a member of the Holy name Society of Holy Cross church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Both groups held vigils.

He is survived by his widow; seven daughters, Mrs. Barbara Becker, Mrs. Angeline Jacoby, and Mrs. Rita Lauters, of the town of Port, Miss Armelia, Miss Alice, and Miss Geraldine, and Miss Martha, at home; four sons, Edmund, Norbert, Ambrose and Jerome, all at home; seven grandchildren; five brothers, John and George of Port, Peter and Nick, of Milwaukee, and Henry of Saukville; and two sisters, Mrs. Celia Nickel of Milwaukee and Mrs. Anna Blick of Port Washington.

One daughter, Marjorie, preceded Mr. Lanser in death.

Pallbearers were six nephews: Frank, Nic, Wm. and Sylvan Lanser, Norman and Bertram Wester.
