She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Creston and graduated from Creston High School. On March 28, 1940 Alice was united in marriage to Clarence Janssen at St. Peter's Church in Creston. The couple moved to Columbus in the late 50's. Alice worked for Dale Electronics and then at Becton - Dickinson where she retired from. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.
