Lucille A. Geissler, 79, of Menomonie, died Monday, April 5, 1999, at her home.

The former Lucille Augusta McIntyre was born Jan. 6, 1920, in the Town of Otter Creek, Dunn County, to Neil W. and Clara A. (Stuart) McIntyre. She graduated from Hay River Grade School, Colfax High School, and Dunn County Normal School.

Lucille and Arnold T. Geissler were united in marriage on April 24, 1946, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie. She and her husband fanned side-by-side for 53 years in the Town of Sherman, Dunn County.

Lucille was active in numerous local activities, 4H, Farm Bureau, and PC.C.W. at St. Joseph's. She also took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucille was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Arnold of Menomonie; one daughter, Veronica of Menomonie; two sons, Dale (Joan) Geissler of Eau Claire and Richard (Mary) Geissler of Webster; one brother, Gilbert (Doris) McIntyre of Eau Claire; nine grandchildren, Susan Snorek of Webster, Timothy (Shonnah) McIntyre of Danbury, Michelle (Tim) Markgraft of Baldwin, Terri (George) Kocourek of Dickson, Tenn., Tracy Herman of Menomonie, Troy Leach and fiance, Melissa of Minnesota; and Joseph Geissler, Nichole Geissler and Rory Geissler, all of Eau Claire; nine greatgrandchildren, Travis and Collin Herman, Jeremy and Aaron Kocourek, Ashley Ronning, Sean and Alicia Snorek, and Gregory and Chelsey McIntyre; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dennis; one grandson, David; one great-grandson Bradley: sister, Violet Anderson; and brother, Samuel McIntyre.

Funeral services for Lucille are 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 1999, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie with the Rev. Lyle Schulte. Burial will be in Hay River Cemetery in the Town of Hay River.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie where a prayer service is scheduled at 7 p.m., and at the church one hour before the service.
