Lillian Minnie Fahl

Lillian Minnie Fahl, 77, of 1942 North 11th Street died on Saturday, June 15, 1991, at St. Nicholas Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Lillian was born on May 25, 1914, in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late William and Lydia Methfessel. She attended elementary schools in Sheboygan and Sheboygan Central High School.
In 1933, Lillian was united in marriage to Harvey Klabechek at Sheboygan. Harvey preceded her in death on September 23, 1983. On September 7, 1957, Lillian was united in marriage to Harold Fahl, who preceded her in death on January 2, 1988.

Lillian was employed for a time with the Telephone Company, the Kresge's Department Store and at Wigwam Mills until her retirement. Lillian was a member of the Ebenezer United Church of Christ and the Royal Neighbors of America.

One of Lillian's favorite pastimes was to sit at the organ and play her favorite old songs.

Lillian is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sheila Klabechek, Sheboygan; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Call, Port Washington; one stepson, Harold Fahl Jr., Pennsylvania, a step-daughter, Germaine Klein, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, and sister-in-law, William and Marcella Methfessel, Bradenton, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Karl Reinholz, Sheboygan; and a very close companion, Fay Eckhardt. Lillian was preceded in death by a step-son, Bruce Fahl and a brother, Marvin Methfessel.

Funeral services for Lillian will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2 p.m., at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Ruben Grosshuesch officiating. Entombment will take place at Garden of Peace Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Northside Chapel, North 8th St. and Michigan Ave. on Monday (this evening) from 4 until 8 p.m. and at the church, on Tuesday, for one hour prior to the services.

A memorial fund will be established in Lillian's name.
