Mrs. Ellen Blome, widow of George Blome, founder of the firm of George Blome & Son, candy manufacturers, died last night at her home, 2201 Callow avenue, after a short illness.
Born in Annapolis, Mrs. Blome had been married 37 years. Her husband died 12 years ago. She was for many years an active member of Zion Church, on North Gay street.
Mrs. Blome leave two sons, William C. and Jerome Y. Blome and one daughter, Mrs. William Sanner.
