Gisela was married on August 19, 1912, to Edward Kraemer. They took several trips to places such as Mexico City, Mexico (in 1956), to Europe (in 1958), to Portugal, Spain, to Germany (in 1965), and again to Germany (in 1971) when they visited Treffelstein and Waldmuenchen. Gisela and her daughter Iris took a trip to Europe after 1973.
Gisela and Edward's children were: Rudolph, Frederick, Victor, and Iris Kraemer, and adopted son Duane DuBois (Kraemer).
Gisela was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain and the Plain American Legion Auxilliary. She loved to play the piano and played for many organizations, but mostly loved to play in her home.
Gisela, age 106, of Plain, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Maplewood Nursing Home of Sauk City.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, August 1, 2000, at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Plain, at noon. Father Mike Resop will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
