Nicholas Wohn, 62 of 119 Townline St Oak Harbor died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday afternoon. He had been in failing health since 1955.
Born in Russia, January 25, 1899, he first lived in Genoa. He then moved to Dunbridge Ohio before coming to the Oak Harbor area in 1952.
Mr Wohn was employed at the Willys Motors in Toledo and then operated the Central Inn in Dunbridge. Before retirement due to his poor health, he operated Orchard Inn near Oak Harbor.
A member of St Boniface Catholic Church, Mr Wohn is survived by his wife Catherine; four sons, Nicholas, Jr of Genoa, John of Craigsville, WV, Joseph of Dunbridge and Jacob of Bowling Green; one daughter, Mrs Joseph (Catherine) Smahaj of Perrysburg; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Margaret Lauer of Portland, OR and Mrs Anna Mildenberger of Sterling, CO.
Friends may call at Robinson Funeral Home after 7pm today. Services will be Friday at 9:30am in St Boniface Church.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Clay-Genoa Cemetery.
