They had a daughter Catharina (19 Oct 1876 – 18 Oct 1879) and a son Joannes (07 Jun 1879 – 15 Jun 1882) Agnes died 22 Sep 1880. Jan married Katarzyna Wozna on 21 Nov 1880 in Iwno. He came to the United States on 'The Saale' on March 26, 1887 with his wife and three children. The family lived in Chicago. Jan and Katarzyna had 8 children. Helen (1881-1968) Peletz, Pelagia (1884-1942) Maciejewski, , Frank (1885-1971), Michael (1887-1952), Wanda (1890-1973) Byczynski, Mary (1892-1947) Herek, Anna (1894-1974) Hill and Edward (1897-1966). Jan died in Chicago in on May 21, 1926. He is buried next to his wife Katarzyna.
