Christian came from Slopstrop, Denmark & Anna from Smoland, Sweden. They had 8 children: Julius, Victor, Rose, Carl, 2 babies that died and daughters Lillian & Marie. Christian was a teamster for the Morgan Lumber & Cedar Company mill. He established a family farm on the west side of Foster City. Anna worked for Mrs. Alonzo L. Foster in her home on Boarding House Hill. She did housework, laundry & sewing. She also did embroidery & fancy work.
