Mrs. Irene Burkhardt, 72, of Kekoskee, died Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Beaver Dam.
Born Dec. 24, 1899, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sasse. She married Frank Burkhardt on June 19, 1929, in Mayville.
Survivors include her widower; one daughter, Mrs. Gus Zimmermann of Mayville; one sister, Miss Adela Sasse of Beaver Dam; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Kekoskee with the Rev. Melvin W. Croll officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.
Relatives and friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and on Tuesday from noon until the time of services at the church.
