Death was due to a general collapse in health resulting from Mr. Jessen's advanced years. He had been in weakened health for more than two years and when stricken seriously little hope for recovery was held.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christ Lutheran church in Bouton with Rev. R. T. Muller, pastor officiating. Interment will be made in the People's cemetery. Prior to the churh service brief rites for the family will be held at the Luett residence at 1;15.
Mr. Jessen is survived by two sons in addition to the daughter named. They are; Max Jessen of Ogden and John Jessen of Woodward. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.
Mr. Jessen had resided in the Bouton vicinity most of his life and was a widely known farmer. He retired from active work some years ago and had since made his home with his daughter.
