Carl Cohen, 78, Paducah clothing merchant, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday at his residence, 200 1/2 Broadway, located in the same building where he operated his business, Ike Cohen's Men's Store.
Mr. Cohen, a lifelong Paducahan, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike Cohen. He had been a retail merchant all his adult life, operating the business his father established.
Mr. Cohen was a member of Temple Israel, Paducah Masonic Lodge No. 127 and Paducah Elks Lodge.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Stella Peine and Miss Goldie Cohen, both of Paducah.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roth Funeral Chapel with Rabbi Max Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Temple Israel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Russell, Jules Samuels, Arthur Simon, Edwin Michael, Joe Rosenfield and Charles Stone.
Masonic rites will be conducted tonight at 7 o'clock at Roth Funeral Home.
