MRS. G. G. MATHIS DIES HERE AT 74; FUNERAL SUNDAY
Mrs. George G. Mathis, 74, 715 West Reed street, died at 8:45 o'clock last night in Whitaker Hospital, where she had been a patient three months.
Mrs. Mathis is survived by a son, Robert Mathis, Moberly; a daughter, Mrs. Bailey Martin, Chicago; three grandsons, Mark and Philip Mathis and Donald B.Martin; a great-grandson, Steven B.Martin; and a brother and sister, Nick Minor, Chicago, and Mrs. Sally Thomas, Maryville. Mr. Mathis died July 22, 1949.
Mrs. Mathis was a member of First Baptist Church.
The body will be in the Mahan Funeral Parlors until services at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in First Baptist Church by the pastor, Dr. Merle A. Mitchell. Burial will be in the Huntsville Cemetery.
