Margaret Rita Bevilacqua Bonura, age 92, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012.

Margaret was born in Port Arthur, Texas, August 1, 1920, where she lived for a short time and then Beaumont, where she has resided since 1928.

She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was a lifetime homemaker and a single parent to her three sons, 10, 9 and 8 years of age after the sudden death of her husband. She devoted herself to raising her boys and will always be remembered for being a single parent who never drove a car.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Bonura and his wife, JoAnne, Gerard Bonura and Lawrence W. Bonura, Jr. and his wife, Debbie; one granddaughter; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Citrano; brother, Sam Bevilacqua and his wife, Pat; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Bonura; granddaughter, Alicia Christine Bonura; parents, Salvatore Bevilacqua and Antonina Messina Bevilacqua; brothers, Joe Bevilacqua, Charlie Bevilacqua and Vincent Bevilacqua; and sister, Camile Jennie Bevilacqua.
