Ellenville, Jan. 11 - August Lepke died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otton Johnson, of Bloomer street, on Wednesday, January 9. He was born on April 7, 1844, in Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Edward Lepke. His wife, Anna Ziehl Lepke, died on April 8, 1933. Surviving are six children, Mrs. John Kalinin, of Somerville, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Pauline Greiling of Rosedale, L.I., Adolph Lepke of Brooklyn, Emil Lepke of Richmond Hill, and Gustave A. Lepke, of Little Neck, L.I. Two sons, Henry Lepke and Rudolph Lepke, died during the past few years. Twenty-four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Interment in the Ulster Heights Cemetery.
