Lancaster Intelligencer Journal (Lancaster, Pa.), June 2, 1916, p. 2:
"Mrs. Sarah Woerner
Mrs. Sarah Woerner, wife of William P. Woerner, of No. 512 West Orange street, died this morning after a long illness from a complication of diseases. She was 48 years old, was born at Silver Spring and a daughter of of John and Susan Eisle. She resided in this city 24 years, was a member a Emmanuel Lutheran church, the Ladies' Auxilliary of the Y.M.C.A., and Inland City Temple, Ladies of the Golden Eagle. The children are Esther, Herbert, Ray and Helen at home. Mrs. Susan Horne, of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Elizabeth Deaper of Augustus, Ohio, are sisters; John Eisle, of Marion, Ohio, and Frank, of Gallion, Ohio are brothers of the deceased. the funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:30 with interment in Woodward Hill cemetery."
