FROSTBURG — Sarah T. Garlitz, 56, of 221 Armstrong Avenue, died today at Sacred Heart Hospital where she was admitted December 5. She had been in failing health for two months. Born here, she was a daughter of Annebelle (Stevens) Truly and the late Richard Truly. Mrs. Garlitz was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was an employe of the Michael Berkowitz Company for 40 years. Besides her mother, surviving are her husband, John Garlitz; two sons, John Garlitz Jr., of here and Donald E. Smith, Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Oliver Truly, Cleveland; Graham and Lloyd Garlitz (sic), both of here; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Layman of here, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Wednesday.
