Wilhelmina BADER born on the 7th March 1856 in Paris, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia was the daughter of Christian BADER and Katharina KLAUS.

Wilhelmina married Christian QUAST on the 7th of February 1874 in Neu Elft, Bessarabia. The couple were blessed with no less than 12 children. Their 2 oldest daughters, Whilhelmina and Sophia were born in Plotzk, Bessarabia.

Sailing aboard the SS "Vaderland" the Christian Quast Family along with his parents, the Gottlieb and Christina QUAST Family left the Port of Antwerp, Belgium early in May of 1877 and arrived at Castle Garden, New York on the 17th of May 1877.

Wilhelmina (Bader) QUAST was the first of four members of the Christian BADER family that immigrated to North America from Bessarabia, South Russia.
