Howards Grove. --- Arthur Prange, 56, well known resident of the county, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at his home in town of Sheboygan Falls on the Johnsonville road. Mr. Prange suffered a stroke Wednesday evening while doing chores in the barn. A physician was summoned. On Thursday night Mr. Prange suffered another stroke, which resulted in death.
Mr. Prange was born in town of Herman on November 4, 1875. His marriage with Bertha Rohde took place during 1903. After their marriage the couple took over the old homestead on the Johnsonville road, where they have since resided. Mr. Prange was a member of the school board of district No. 6, for seven years and was also a member of the Howards Grove and Johnsonville Gun club. He was a kind and loving father and very devoted to his family circle. He possessed a large circle of friend.
He is survived by his wife and three children, one having died in infancy. He leaves to mourn his death one son, Reuben, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Ed Voss,
town of Herman, and Mrs. Arthur Meyer, town of Sheboygan Falls, four grandchildren; one brother, Theodore of Sheboygan, and one sister, Miss Tony Prange, town of Sheboygan Falls.
The body will be removed to the Prange home at 10 a.m. Saturday. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the residence and at 2:30 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church at Millersville. The Rev. Kuether will officiate and interment will be in the Concordia cemetery on the Johnsonville road.
