Norma RYAN, age 102, passed away on March 8, 2001.
She was born in Nordheim, Texas on March 10, 1898 to Gus and Anna OSTERLOH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus A. RYAN and by her son, Marcus Gus RYAN.
She is survived by her daughter La Verne VOLK and son-in-law, Bill VOLK, two grandsons, William R. VOLK (Danna), Austin, Texas, Charles T. VOLK, (Lorraine), Corpus Christi, Texas, and five great grandchildren, Mark and Elizabeth VOLK, and Will, David, and Carolyn VOLK.
In the past years she was very active in the Women's Society and the Garden Club at First United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful lady and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2001, at Seaside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Seaside Reid Chapel.
A private entombment will be held at Seaside Memorial Park.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Corpus Christi Libraries Foundation, or to a charity of choice.
