MERCEDES, TX. - Alberto Perez, 38, passed away Sept. 27, 2012 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Elida Cosme of Mercedes, a son Alberto Perez, Jr. of Mercedes; three daughters Abigail Ann Perez, Dianne Marie Sanchez, Denise Marie Rodriguez all of Mercedes; his mother Maria Inez Perez of Mercedes, three brothers Daniel Perez, Jr., David Perez, both of Mercedes, Larry Perez of Progreso; seven sisters Eva Llerena of Bangor, MI, Isabel Gonzalez, Juanita Gonzalez, Rosario Perez, Maria Perez, Ida Torres all of Mercedes, Liza Perez of Weslaco; also surviving are 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. both nights.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes; interment will follow at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home of Mercedes.
